This was taken December 1st, 1999. The two orphanage directors are looking at a photo album of Tongshan adopted children, that an adoptive family had sent to the orphanage.
Below is a picture of the orphanage officials and workers, standing outside the front of the orphanage main complex building. (The short woman is our adoption facilitator/translator.)
The photo below is of Zi Cheng (Faith) with her parents, Philip and Terri, and the foster mother,
taken one day before the adoption, on the sidewalk in front of the orphnage main building.

Below is a photo of the inside of the main room, which appeared to be a sort of cafeteria.
While it was very clean, it was also quite empty and sparce.
There were about five of these tables, each with six stools around them.
Through the windows you can see the other orphanage buildings
which house not only children, but disabled and elderly people also.
The following six pictures show a panoramic view of the city of Tongshan. These pictures were taken from the balcony of a restaurant resort located on a small mountain to the southwest of the city. If the pictures were taped together in the order shown, you would view a nearly 360 degree view.
